ICTU's Dr Laura Bambrick writes in The Examiner about the need for the State’s social safety net to be strengthened for workers, as recipients of the PUP will see the amount they receive reduced further from today.

 

Cabinet will today consider a proposal that would strongly advise people to work from home. It follows close to five hours of discussions among the Taoiseach, ministers and health officials at the Cabinet Covid Committee last night.

Residential property prices rose by 12.4% in the year to September, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
