The Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) has renewed its criticism of the Public Service Card, in an event it hosted on Monday. Speakers at the event, including the UN’s special rapporteur on extreme poverty, Philip Alston, said "immediate clarity is needed on the scope, intention and justification for the mishmash that is the Public Services Card," and questioned its compliance with GDPR.
