The Irish Times reports that the Public Service Pay Commission is likely to recommend increased allowances for members of the Defence Forces when it reports to the Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe later today. It says the increases are believed to be in the form of higher military service allowances for Army personnel and patrol duty allowances for Naval Service members.
