The Maestro
by Niall Shanahan

Morning all.

The front pages this morning deal variously with Barry Cowen and Cabinet preparations for a no-deal Brexit. Elsewhere, the secretary general at DPER has questioned why pensions paid to former taoisigh, ministers, and presidents could not be published. Robert Watt was reacting to a decision by the Information Commissioner that details of the pensions would not be made available under Freedom of Information (FOI) law.

There was good news from the mid west yesterday as our colleague Eddie Walsh announced some significant personal news. Congratulations to you both Eddie!
