TheJournal.ie's report on the hiring of new driving testers mentions Fórsa's role in securing the deal to boost the number of testers. Meanwhile, Siptu has entered another round of talks with the DAA.

 

Elsewhere, Fórsa representatives joined with union colleagues at Saturday's Pride rally in Dublin. The riot of colour saw 60,000 people take part, a 100% increase on last year's attendance.

 

A report for the HSE says salaries paid to some staff at the St John of God organisation are not in line with official State pay guidelines and procurement rules are not being followed in some cases.

 

Ibec has called for more resources for higher education, and this week's ITF Ryanair cabin crew summit (being hosted at Nerney's Court on Tuesday and Wednesday) was reported in Saturday's Irish Examiner.
