Fórsa will join AGSI later today, speaking to an Oireachtas committee on the Policing Bill. Tosh Cowman is set to say that union members are “extremely annoyed, frustrated and perplexed” at the prospect of having their terms and conditions unilaterally changed through the proposed legislation. 

 

A new statutory agency will be established to oversee the State’s response to domestic, sexual and gender-based violence, under plans to be brought to Cabinet today.

 

The tightening of lobbying rules is also set to be discussed by Cabinet today.
