Our featured image today is the runner-up of the Mammal Society’s 2021 photography competition, the theme of which was mammals during lockdown. 

Elsewhere, the Tánaiste has said the government will be able to say “over the next couple of days” whether the target of giving 80% of the adult population at least one vaccine dose by the end of June is still within reach.
