The chaos in Dublin Airport is broadly covered this morning, you can find that here and here. Meanwhile, security staff at Dublin Airport have spoken of the aggression they faced from some members of the public during long delays on Sunday.

 

The Times reports that a controversial plan to create special educational needs centres for children without school places is “dead in the water”, according to a Government source.

 

The Journal looks at a report which has warned the government that it must carefully balance the cost of living crisis with following through on policies in the face of global challenges.

 

Tesco Ireland has announced an overall 10% pay increase for staff that covers 2021, 2022 and 2023. The company said a 6% pay rise is effective from 1 April 2022, 2.5% of which will be backdated to April 2021.

 

The INMO has outlined concerns around staff and patient safety in University Hospital Limerick, as figures release show that a quarter of all patients waiting on trolleys nationally are in that hospital. And more than 14,000 non-urgent hospital appointments were cancelled last month, according to the Health Service Executive.
