Fever
by Bernard Harbor

Four members of cabin crew and two pilots were grounded over the virus yesterday, and now the stock markets have caught the bug. Cue warnings of global recession.

Elsewhere, the BBC considers the question of sick pay and self-isolation, while the Journal looks at the potential impact of the lurgy in Irish workplaces.

On the airwaves, Fórsa's Kevin Callinan pretty-much laid out the entire trade union agenda when he talked to Ivan Yates yesterday (scroll down and click on the Bertie pic to hear it).

And as the number of homeless people hit the 10,000 mark, John Fitzgerald says political parties are bound to fall short on their housing election promises.

Also, Sinn Féin want civil servants excluded from government-formation talks.

Zen? I couldn't resist this.

I'm going to wash me hands.
