Firstly, I want to say a personal thank you for signing the petition to stop the exclusion of HSCPs in the new HSE Health Regions. But we need your help again and this is why:

“Understandably all disciplines would prefer to have a representative within this team however this was not considered to be conducive to a high performing function.” 

This is a direct quote that we’ve recently received from the HSE via Anne Marie Hoey, Chief People Officer, on why HSCPs were not given a role at senior level.

How would including the second largest clinical group somehow lessen the performance of the team? Why would hearing from those providing critically important services make things worse? 

The government needs to know how serious this is, and public pressure will do just that.
