On this day in 2008 Mamma Mia made its film premiere at Leicester Square in London. The smash musical is the 8th longest serving musical on Broadway and while the film received a mixed reception it has gone down in history as a cult classic, mainly down to Pierce Brosnan's infamous singing. SOS
