Minister for everything, including media, Catherine Martin TD, is advised today by Michael Foley (professor emeritus at the School of Media, TU Dublin and a former Irish Times media correspondent) that the growing interest and need for verified independent news might be the basis for an "imaginative joined-up policy" on media.
