On my radio
by Niall Shanahan

The Guardian reported yesterday evening that the EU is preparing to delay Brexit until at least July after concluding that Theresa May is doomed to fail in getting her deal through parliament.

The Sunday Business Post reported yesterday that the plan being drawn up by the Sláintecare health reform office will see between five and six regional integrated care organisations (RICOs) established across Ireland*, in the same paper Susan Mitchell looks at the INMO dispute*.

Elsewhere, Willie Kealy wrote about the nurses dispute in the Sindo, and says "we need to set aside sentiment and concentrate on industrial relations" while the Business Post reports that the state pays €5.29 million to lease almost 4,000 car parking spaces* for government departments and state bodies.

The front pages today have plenty of Brexit as the clock ticks down to tomorrow's Commons vote. The Irish Times main story is about the 165-acre Thornton Hall site, once intended for a supersized prison, now the bulk of the site has been offered to the State’s new house building body.

Meanwhile, the IT reports that the Department of Social Protection has refused to release information regarding the Data Protection Commission’s investigation into the public services card, in part because it would be “contrary to the public interest”.

Your moment of Zen comes in two parts. The first is an appropriate tune to accompany the image above (just click on it for more). The second is news that the latest edition of Fórsa magazine is now in circulation. You can also download a copy here.

Have a good week.
