Today is Purple Day, an international effort dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy. According to the World Health Organization, nearly 50 million people around the world live with epilepsy. Over 30 well known Irish buildings such as The Convention Centre and The Mansion House are set to show their support for the cause today by turning purple. To get involved you can wear purple and use #EpilepsyAwarenessDay or #PurpleDay to post on social media.
