Today on international workers’ memorial day we’ll be remembering all those workers who’ve been killed or injured in work-related accidents. The union’s NEC meets today and will hold a minute’s silence at noon to show respect to those who’ve died or been injured at work.
A broadcast will be streamed via the Congress youtube channel which will include a wreath-laying at the Garden of Remembrance as well as a poem recited by front-line healthcare workers.
