Runnin' things...
...it ain't all gravy
by Niall Shanahan

Colleagues,

I always like to find a way to fit a Miller's Crossing reference into the news digest. And when I can't, I like to crowbar one in anyway.

This is just my way of getting your attention long enough to let you know we've published five new editions of the Fórsa news bulletins this morning, compiled into a single inbox-friendly package for youse hardworkin' types as Johnny Caspar might well have said about Fórsa.

We've got the latest on new entrants pay, a social event in Cork tonight, upward pay trends, Fórsa's call for accountability and due process on the CervicalCheck scandal, SNA 'allocation-watch 2018' (with some helpful advice on SNA contracts from Sean), talks to boost ATC numbers, talks on job evaluation in higher education, library staff to vote on WRC recommendations on staffing and staffless libraries, psychometric testing and, well, so much more besides.

If you only read one thing, I hope it'll be the the tributes paid by friends and colleagues to the late Tony Mitchell of the Dublin Care Services branch, who was remembered with a minute’s silence at Fórsa's National Executive meeting yesterday.

Our next editions will be published shortly after next week's national conference, with all the conference news, video and audio that's fit for publication.

Bulletins:
