The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) announced yesterday that nurses who are its members will take strike action for 24 hours on Wednesday 30th January. The INMO also said if the dispute over pay to address recruitment and retention issues is not resolved, there will be further 24-hour strikes in February. The executive of the Psychiatric Nurses Association (PNA), will meet tomorrow to finalise its plans for strike action.
