This story caught my eye (ahem) in the Daily Telegraph - researcher tells us there's sad news for the eagle-eyed: specs-wearers really are smarter.

Today's Zen is prompted by the fine weather because, when the sun shines, there's no country quite like Ireland - and here are some beautiful beaches to prove it.  Here's hoping the fine weather lasts.
