Yesterday's news about Ryanair closures at Cork and Shannon dealt a devastating blow to pilots and crew in both bases, as well as to the respective regions. Elsewhere, the union announced that school secretaries are to return to the WRC on Tuesday 27th October, with that news also picked up by the Irish Times' education correspondent.
