The Department of Health has announced the details of the new publicly funded IVF scheme coming into place from September for people who meet certain eligibility criteria. 

 

The National Union of Journalists has expressed “grave concern” over an article published by Iconic Media’s digital titles that was generated by artificial intelligence about refugees.

The Abhaile is set to be extended until the end of 2027, Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys and Minister for Justice Helen McEntee announced today. Both ministers received approval to the extension this week after an independent review found there was a “continued need” for the service to remain in place to help debtors in “long-term arrears”.

Finally, an Irish harpist has begun her quest to play music atop the highest mountain in Africa today on a quest to set a new Guinness World Record. 24-year-old Siobhan Brady from Co Limerick reached the 5,895-metre summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania this morning. To beat her previous feat, she needs to play the harp for 18 minutes, with a Tanzanian jig.
