Dozens of diplomats walked out of a speech by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to the U.N. human rights forum yesterday, in protest over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Elsewhere, President Higgins has urged Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukraine and end the rise of militarism, adding that the hearts of Irish people go out to those who are suffering from this "completely unacceptable, immoral and unjustified violence
