Stormy Weather

As last week's work wound down we posted a couple of new items on the Fórsa website covering HSE assessment of needs and an update on the proposed SNA ‘Frontloading Allocation’ model.
With most of the news agenda tied up with the election, the Indo profiles some of the winners and losers so far, while the stormy weather provides useful metaphors for the sub-editors.
The Guardian goes big on Sinn Féin's spectacular election performance in its Monday briefing, correspondent Rory Carroll reports. While counting continues and Labour remain in contention for some seats, it wasn't a great day for them, and proved to be better than expected for the party's first cousins.
Elsewhere...the Coronavirus...it hasn't gone away you know. Our neighbours have declared it a 'serious and imminent threat' to public health, more than 30 people have been tested in Ireland for the virus. Let's be careful out there too while we've got a weather warning in place.
With some outrage/controversy yesterday over songs of jubilation in the count centre, Mary Lou might consider this Taylor Swift number as a victory anthem instead.
Have a good week.
