Leitrim Skies

Regional coverage of last week's lunchtime HSE protests, and ongoing industrial action by Fórsa members, continues to roll in from Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Donegal and Wexford among others.

Elsewhere, Fórsa was represented at Saturday's Palestine solidarity protest at Cork City Hall.

The Irish News reports that unions "have set themselves on a collision course" with the UK Government as they plan to resist a controversial new law to provide minimum levels of service during strikes.

In bummer news, the Irish Times reports that the full 24/7 pedestrianisation of Dublin’s new civic spaces is being reconsidered by Dublin City Council following the recent riots in the city centre.

With two major storms having blown over the country at the  weekend, the clean-up is underway.

Season 3 of the excellent Slow Horses is rolling out on Wednesdays on Apple TV. Gary Oldman is wickedly droll as Jackson Lamb, head of a unit of MI5 cast-offs. Highly recommended.

Have a terrific week.
