As another working week begins, today's main stories include reports that the Labour Court will announce this morning on whether it will formally intervene to try avert three days of consecutive strikes this week by nurses.

Yesterday the Indo was reporting that increases to allowances paid to nurses are being examined in the Labour Court as a solution to prevent further strikes, while talks continued through the weekend, and concluded at 3.30 this morning.
