From the deranged to the disgusting...
by Bernard Harbor

In the week that Europe felt the heat - and I don't mean over Brexit - we published the latest set of Fórsa news bulletins. That's it now, until September.

The Independent signs off with a helpful summary of new British cabinet members' views on Ireland; it's all here, from the deranged to the disgusting. Meanwhile, the Times has this assessment of Johnson's frightening band of third-rate born-to-rulers, and Martin Kettle points out that a coup has just unfolded in Westminster.

Also in the 'Paper of Record,' Oliver Callan writes clearly about the politics of the housing crisis (no one here gets out alive), while Northern Ireland's civil servants are on strike for the day. Here's their union Nipsa's take on the dispute over pay.

Down south, the Examiner has this on third-level funding. And the Hyde and Seek scandal stays in the headlines. Siptu has this.

Zenwise, try this fantastic video from the amazing Anna Meredith. I recommend you watch her latest single Paramour on the full screen.

Enjoy the weekend.
