In breaking news this morning legislation is to be brought to the Dail to extend the Government's emergency powers in relation to Covid-19.This will allow them to introduce laws on things such as masks, lockdowns and covid certificates.


Tony Holohan has urged parents to abide by the new rules for children as masks become madatory in schools. From today pupils from third class and above are required to wear a mask with exemptions for those who can provide a letter from their GP,


However, GP's have criticised the Ministed for Education, Norma Foley, indicatiing that requiring a letter for a child to have an exemption from wearing a mask in school is 'nonsense'
