Fórsa at the IPSC National Demonstration for Palestine - Saturday 4th October

Hello colleagues,

For two years, Israel has waged a brutal and unrelenting genocide against the people of Gaza. On Saturday 4th October, Fórsa members will be marching shoulder-to-shoulder with thousands across Ireland as part of the National Demonstration for Palestine to demand an end to the horrific violence we continue to witness daily.

We invite you to join us at the Fórsa Headquarters, Nerney’s Court for a pre-march coffee morning. You can meet your fellow union members, build community, and get ready to raise your voice.

All members who wish to take part in the demonstration are encouraged to join the Fórsa delegation, which will be marching as part of the trade union bloc. You can join us at Fórsa’s HQ in Nerney’s Court from 12pm for free coffee, pastries, and a chat, before we collect the flags and head down to join the main trade union bloc at 12.30PM.

We’ll also have some cans of Palestinian Cola being handed out so come early, fuel up, and march with us!

We will be gathering outside Mandate’s offices across from the Gate Theatre on Cavendish Row to kick-off the march. You can meet us at Fórsa HQ or join us directly outside the Mandate office.

The march will begin at the Garden of Remembrance and finish outside the Dáil on Molesworth Street/Kildare Street to bring our demands to the Irish government’s doorstep. Bring your friends. Bring your families. Bring your union banners and your voices.
