Fórsa Global Solidarity Autumn School
by Róisín McKane

Dear colleagues,

The Fórsa Global Solidarity Autumn school will take place this Friday and Saturday (18th and 19th November) in Fórsa’s Head Office, Nerney’s Court, Dublin 1.

The two-day event will kick off at 3:00pm on Friday and will feature panel discussions and guest speakers on topics including Ukraine, the fight for refugee justice and the rise of the far right. You can check out the agenda here.

The school will provide a unique opportunity for interested members to discuss a range of international, trade union and human rights issues. We will hear about projects that the Fórsa actively fund across the world. It will also be an opportunity to hear about Forsa’s global solidarity work, particularly in Colombia, Palestine, and Ukraine.

As the first in person global solidarity event since 2019, this will prove to be an engaging and inspiring day.

Limited accommodation has been reserved in the nearby Dublin One Hotel (North Circular Road) and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Costs will be recouped from Branches with funds.

If you have not yet registered your attendance and would like to attend please contact us here. Please be aware that seats at the event are limited.

We look forward to welcoming you to this year’s seminar.
