Customer service software firm Intercom is to cut its global workforce by just under 13%, leaving 39 jobs in Ireland at risk.  Meanwhile, the New York Times is reporting that Amazon.com is planning to lay off about 10,000 people in corporate and technology jobs starting as soon as this week, citing people with knowledge of the matter
