A planned "tractorcade" is set to take place today as farmers bring 400 tractors into the city centre in a protest over beef prices. The organisers of the protest - The Individual Farmers of Ireland - said farmers need a better price for their product to help sustain rural Ireland. The group has also raised concerns over traceability issues in the food chain. The protest is due to begin at 2pm today, and the road closures and diversions can be found here.

 
The homeless crisis debate stirred up again after yesterday’s incident where a man sleeping in a tent was forcibly removed using industrial vehicles, sustaining critical injures in the process. The incident occurred along the Grand Canal.  

An Air Lingus pilot is being hailed a hero after landing a plane in Cork Airport safely despite stormy weather conditions during Storm Brendan's extremely windy conditions on Monday at the height of Met Eireann's orange warning.

The Diversity and Inclusion Index voted Google as the most diverse and inclusive workplace, in a poll conducted among Irish engineering students. Domestic companies RTÉ (20), Irish Rail (34), Ryanair (35) and the Irish Aviation Authority (36) also made it to the top 40.
