On Friday Forsa hosted a press conference ahead of the Trade Union Friends of Palestine (TUFP) conference at the weekend. Former child detainee Ahmed Alsoos spoke about his personal experience of arrest, interrogation and imprisonment by Israeli authorities. Ahmed is 17. His story was genuinely shocking. TUFP called on the Irish Government to halt trade links with Israel in protest at the systematic maltreatment of Palestinian children by the Israeli military.
