Community Employment (CE) supervisors have begun a series of protests at the office of education minister Joe McHugh, over the failure of the government to implement a labour court recommendation regarding their right to a pension. The protests are expected to continue up until the election on February 8.

Hydrogen powered buses are set to hit the road in Northern Ireland later this year, in a major step towards achieving zero carbon emissions from Northern Ireland’s public transport by 2040. The buses are fuelled with 30kg of hydrogen which allows them to travel for approximately 300kms.
