Get on board with the campaign for pension parity: Online meetings next week
Dear members,
There will be two online meetings for school caretakers and secretaries next week, on Tuesday 18th March & Wednesday 19th March.
These meetings will be open to both members and non-members and we urge you to send on the invite to all caretakers and secretaries that you know.
Your campaign for pensions and public sector status is fighting for:
Proper, fair, set rates of pay.
Single contracts of employment for all caretakers and secretaries.
Access to decent sick leave, bereavement leave and other terms and conditions that teachers and SNAs have.
Secure pensions.
Recognition as public sector workers.
Ensuring that caretakers and secretaries are public service jobs going forward.
These meetings will set out what joint actions will need to be taken by both caretakers and secretaries to secure these goals and what we need to do together to achieve these goals.
