Fórsa's results from their domestic violence survey was launched at the Equality Seminar in Nerney's court yesterday. Half of respondents said they knew someone who has experienced or is experiencing domestic abuse and over 80% indicated that they were not aware of any domestic abuse policies and supports available in their workplaces. Róisin McKane spoke to Today FM on the issue while Ashley Connolly will be speaking on LMFM at around 10;30 this morning.

Workers are set to get the legal right to request remote working before the end of the year. The new workers’ right will be delivered in minister Roderic O’Gorman’s Work Life Balance Bill by the end of the year, subject to cabinet approval. Laura Bambrick of ICTU has said the policy is welcome, in principal, for the moment.
