Kevin Callinan was on the Today with Claire Byrne show discussing inflation and pay with regards to the Central Banks new report that was published yesterday. According to the bank risks to the inflation rate are “tilted to the upside”, while those surrounding economic growth are skewed to the “downside”. Presidet Volodymyr Zelenskiy addressed the Dail chamber yesterday and called on Ireland to show more leadership and convince its EU partners to bring in tougher sanctions against Russia.

Today is the first day of Golf's biggest tournament as the US masters kicks off at Augusta National. Yesterday some of the pros relaxed as they took part in the par 3 contest with friends and family. British golfer, Tommy Fleetwood, decided to mix things up a little by skimming his ball across the water before ending up 3 feet from the hole.
