The Government has approved legislation that holds out the hope of paid leave for domestic violence survivors just months after Fórsa called for similar supports at the union's national conference.

 

Meanwhile, yesterday's Northern Ireland census figures have, unsurprisingly, prompted (repeats of) calls for a border poll.

 

The Irish Times ponders the post-pandemic challenges facing middle managers and new graduates, (including employer resistance to remote working) while the Indo has another cut at TDs' salaries. Curiously, our FAQ gets a mention in that.

 

Elsewhere, the State is missing it's housing targets (if that still counts as news), the HSE denies that needs assessments are on hold, and Tommy Tiernan slams the Government's foreign aid effort.
