Hospitals face strike tomorrow (Wednesday) as the latest talks fail between the HSE and SIPTU. The stoppage will begin at 38 hospitals and healthcare facilities from 8am tomorrow.

 

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland launched it's proposal on being Ireland's new safety regulator for harmful content on social media.

 

The Irish Times Europe editor Patrick Smyth looks at the contenders for the top four posts in the EU institutions. While a survey of over 150,000 people from 57 countries by German polling firm Dalia Research and Alliance of Democracies Foundation found that more that 65pc of Irish people feel that the government fails to act in their interest.

 

The Irish Independent/Real Estate Alliance survey shows that homes have become so expensive that potential first-time buyers are now priced out of the market in half the counties in the State.
