After talks between Fórsa and Ryanair management ended inconclusively yesterday, the Irish Times reported that the third day of strike action looks likely to go ahead. While up to 100,000 other passengers face disruption as the airline grounds 600 European flights next week due to cabin crew strikes.
The Taoiseach has said the European Union reassured Government no physical checks will be needed on the Border even if the UK crashes out of the bloc without a deal. On another Brexit related note, the Taoiseach also said Ireland will have to hire about 1,000 new customs and veterinary inspectors by 2021 to prepare our ports and airports.

Having battled with accepting her sexuality for most her life, she announces her intention to quit comedy while speaking out against homophobia and sexual violence in what can only be described as a compelling theatre piece/social commentary. Having won best show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, I can't recommend it highly enough.
