Dear members,
Your indefinite strike for pension parity is due to begin tomorrow. Over the past months hundreds of you have attended information meetings and prepared yourselves for this action. You have already demonstrated your resolve and determination to end this injustice.

Members attending the rallies on Thursday and Friday can collect their placard then as well as leaflets and other materials. We will let you know shortly the locations in each county where staff will deliver placards to members who need them so keep an eye out for an email covering that.
We will be in the WRC this morning and if there are any significant developments that would impact the beginning of strike action tomorrow, we will update you as soon as possible.
As a reminder, the following are the planned actions for the days ahead:
Thursday 28th August: Rally outside the Department of Public Expenditure, Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Assemble at 10.30am, begin at 11am.
Friday 29th August: Regional rallies at 5 locations, assemble at 10.30am, begin at 11am.
