Dear members,
As part of our programme of activities for retired members, we are planning a group walk at Lough Boora Discovery Park, County Offaly, on Sunday 7th June. The walk will be coordinated by RMA Ambassador Larry Lyons.
Located between Tullamore and Birr, Lough Boora Discovery Park is a beautiful outdoor recreation area known for its wide, flat walking trails, lakes, wetlands and outdoor sculpture park. The park offers several accessible routes and is an ideal location for a relaxed and sociable walk where members can meet, enjoy some fresh air and spend time together. You can find more information on the Lough Boora Discovery Park website.
At this stage, we are inviting members to express their interest in attending so that we can get a sense of likely numbers. If this sounds like something you would enjoy you can fill out this form to express your interest.
Depending on the level of interest, we will also explore the possibility of potentially sourcing a discounted overnight accommodation rate in the area. This would depend on sufficient interest from members.
If this is something you might enjoy, we would be very grateful if you could complete the short form below:
Fórsa RMA Walk - Lough Boora Discovery Park Co. Offaly.
Once we have a clearer sense of numbers, we will contact members who have expressed their interest with further details.
For any queries please contact retiredmembers@forsa.ie.
In solidarity,
Claudia Jennings
