Needless to say, the still-undecided US election continues to dominate all titles (I'm hooked on the Guardian's rolling live coverage). A decisive call for Biden is possible (though not guaranteed) today, especially if Pennsylvania keeps heading in the right direction. Ballina has the bubbly on ice

Back in the black and white world, the recent surge in remote working has prompted a DPER spending review to recommend a rethink of how much office space the OPW leases.

The money men also raise questions about Tusla's staffing structure and speculate that GPs could lose a collective €220 million a year when universal provision is fully in place. And they say paid parental leave is not cutting gender inequality as the rates paid are too low, and too few employers top them up.

Meanwhile, the Examiner reports that talks between the IMO and health officials, over public health doctors' contracts, have broken down.

Finally, Zen rectifies the lacuna in this week's news reporting, which saw all outlets ignore the discovery of a huge paper clip-shaped prehistoric creature. One for the pen-pushers!
