Much of the news this morning focuses on the resignation of communication minister Denis Naughten yesterday, RTE and the Irish Times both have articles on the potential implications for the National Broadband Plan. 

The Central Bank has published research into potential brexit outcomes in its latest quarterly economic bulletin. 

Storm Callum swept over the country last night and this morning bringing strong winds, some localised flooding and power outages in mainly western areas. The orange weather warning which began at 11pm last night remains in place in Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare until 5pm this evening.
