Election Day

Good morning folks, 

 

All eyes are on America today as voting commences in the US Presidential Election. In what has been described as “the day the credits start to roll on the horror movie”, voting kicked off at the stroke of midnight in Dixville Notch, a 12 resident village in the US state of New Hampshire, which voted unanimously for Democratic nominee Joe Biden – hopefully a sign of things to come.

 

Newsrooms across the United States are bracing for a potentially volatile election night however, after reports suggested that Donald Trump is planning to declare “victory” on Tuesday even before results from critical battleground states have been determined.
