Here are today's front pages, all featuring news of the American presidential inauguration. 

 

Joe Biden was sworn in yesterday as the 46th president of the United States, while Kamala Harris made history as the first female, first black and first Asian-American US vice-president.

 

Amanda Gorman also became the youngest poet ever to perform at a presidential inauguration, calling for "unity and togetherness" in her self-penned poem. "While democracy can be periodically delayed, it can never be permanently defeated," the 22-year old recited. Watch back her full performance here.
