There was extensive coverage on Friday of the PSC's backing of the pay measures in the Building Momentum review. Breaking News.ie, which provides stories to lots of regional titles, placed the story far and wide, with The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Business Plus, RTE, Newstalk and Virgin Media News quick off the mark with the story too. This was RTE's SixOne report from Friday, while the Indo and regional titles reported the reaction of DPER minister Michael McGrath.

Elsewhere, the Indo did look for opportunities to howl with indignation.

In the Business Post, Michael Brennan writes that "Ibec and ICTU form unlikely bond to build new era of collective bargaining" - in which he analyses the working relationship and respective backgrounds of Patricia King and Ibec chief Danny McCoy, and how these factors informed the report published last week by the high-level group on collective bargaining. Today's papers, as you'd expect, focus on Creeslough, while the Irish TImes reports that employers would have fewer reasons to refuse an employee’s request to work from home under an overhaul of legislation currently being worked on by Government officials. Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said said he's keen to have the legislation published before December 15th, the date when he is due to return to the Taoiseach’s office.
