Former Fianna Fáil minister Barry Andrews has stepped down as CEO of Ireland's largest aid agency, Goal. This comes amidst accusations of bribery and bid-rigging in Goal's business relationships with suppliers on the Syrian-Turkish border.


The results of the ASTI's ballot are due today. The ballot dealth with the pay of newly qualified teachers and a possible withdrawal from supervision and substitution duties. The ASTI is also staging a protest outside the Dáil later today.

Mick Wallace TD has accused Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan of using her senior rank to promote friends and family within the force. She laughed off the accusations, stating that promotions within the force are handled by an independent board.

Several women have alleged that Donald Trump sexually assaulted them. The New York Times has tracked them down and told their story.
