Delegates representing Fórsa’s civil service branches will assemble in Kilkenny next week for the union’s biennial Civil Service Division conference. The representatives will elect a new executive for the division, and set the union’s policy and priorities in the sector for the next two years.

The conference will debate motions on pay and pensions, leave, diversity, promotions and training, and the organisation of the civil service.

Delegates will hear a report on the division’s activities over the last two years, based on its biennial report, which is available here.

The conference will also hear from Fórsa Senior General Secretary Designate Kevin Callinan, who will address the issues of civil service pay and conditions and the organising activities of the union.
