Dubco Ireland welcomes Fórsa members
by James Redmond

The credit union is now extending its membership to include Fórsa Members within our Education & Local Government Divisions. This move opens doors for our members to access a wide array of financial services in a trusted and democratic institution. Dubco Ireland was founded in the Housing Department of Dublin Corporation, now Dublin City Council back in 1977.

Dubco Ireland boasts assets exceeding €150 million and serves over 16,500 members, cementing its position as a trusted financial institution. The credit union is owned and controlled by its members. This means that as a member, much like in a trade union, you have an equal voice.

"The benefits of Dubco membership are extensive," said Seán McElhinney. "Before our national conference in May we plan to run two online webinars, dealing with these benefits. This webinar will focus on the general benefits of Dubco membership and have a specific focus on the 'budget bill pay account' - an account that is designed to accommodate payment of monthly bills where deposits are not always monthly. This is particularly beneficial for term-time only members."

Dubco offer personal loans up to €100,000 with flexible terms. Home loans are available for existing and first-time buyers, with free loan protection included. They also provide market-leading green loan rates for car and home improvements, along with current accounts and debit cards. Plus, you can earn €50 by referring a colleague or family member.

Joining Dubco Ireland is hassle-free. Interested individuals can simply download the app, fill out the online application form, or contact the credit union directly. The required documents for membership include a copy of ID, proof of address, and proof of common bond (such as a payslip).

For further details or to kick start your membership process, please visit the Dubco Ireland website, read this flyer, or call (01) 887 0400. Select option 3 for membership enquiries.
