The union has slammed the “paltry” increase in staffing outlined in Budget 2026, calling for an evidence-based workforce plan for CDNTs, and the creation of permanent posts instead of the continued outsourcing of disability services.  

The Tusla reform process has continued over the past number of months, with a workforce planning exercise now complete. A Labour Court hearing on job evaluation has been set for Friday 31st October.
