A school secretary has been awarded €25,000 after an unfair dismissal case, put forward by Fórsa, was ruled in her favour.

Fórsa members working at the Munster Technological University (MTU) are urged to be vigilant after data was “accessed and copied” from its computer systems and shared on the dark web.

Fórsa members in local authorities are to ballot for industrial action in pursuit of an independent job evaluation scheme.
